Apple iPads to be given to Every Incoming Student in Fall 2012!
Everything is big in Texas. At the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health we've got a big vision and a direction all our own. That's why we provided our faculty with iPads in 2010 and why we will provide every incoming student with an iPad beginning fall 2012. Our hope is that the iPad can extend the classroom learning beyond the walls of the classroom and even the hours of the class. We see the future of education as a network of peers and individuals all communicating and sharing information with each other. Our students are not only experiencing the future of learning, but will be uniquely suited for careers in public health because of it. Come and join us where every day we put public health into practice!
